Marlins Get Clutch Win Versus Colorado
Marlins third baseman Buddy Lewis left his mark on his team's 6-5 win over the Colorado Rockies. Lewis, who finished 4th in the NL in batting average with .353 in 1997, was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs for Miami in the contest. With the win, Miami climbs to 14-18.

Miami got a knockout punch from Riggs Stephenson. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Stephenson said.
