Howard Now 5-0 After Subduing Rangers
|
Starting pitcher Bruce Howard gave the Detroit Tigers a rock-solid effort. The Salisbury, North Carolina native helped his team defeat the Texas Rangers, 2-1, at Globe Life Field. Now 13-21, the Rangers have not played well this season.
Howard, who was born in Salisbury, North Carolina, threw 111 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing 1 run.
