Big Day for Hauser in 7-2 Red Sox Win
Riding the 4-hit performance of the three-time All-Star Joe Hauser, the Boston Red Sox stopped the St. Louis Cardinals, 7-2. Mike Dunn collected his 1st save. The loss puts St. Louis at 19-13.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Hal Wagner? The Boston catcher had a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Red Sox on top, 4-2. For the game, Wagner had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Boston manager Doug Morton.
