Young Homers Twice in 9-6 Red Sox Win
A good performance from left fielder Don Young helped the Boston Red Sox defeat the Colorado Rockies, 9-6. Young went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Red Sox. After losing, Colorado is 13-15.

With Boston trailing 4-3 in the top of the fifth, Young hit a knuckle curve from Bill Lee for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Red Sox ahead, 6-4.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Young.
