Cardinals Win 2-1 Walk-Off
|
St. Louis Cardinals starter Milo Candini pitched his team past the New York (A) Yankees, 2-1. At 18-10, the Cardinals have played well so far.
Mike Lowell was the walk-off hero for St. Louis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cardinals third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Lowell.
