The Minnesota Twins and Baltimore Orioles played an entertaining game for Oriole Park at Camden Yards patrons.

The Minnesota Twins locked up a win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, knocking off the Baltimore Orioles, 5-4. On the mound for Minnesota was right-hander Earl Francis. He played a major role in the triumph. Francis yielded 3 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-2.

Minnesota used the hitting of Trevor Plouffe to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Twins on top, 3-0. For the game, Plouffe had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Andre Ivarsson, the Baltimore manager.
