Guardians Get One-Run Win at Detroit
The skies opened up and the rain fell at Tiger Stadium.

Milt Gaston had a strong outing for the Cleveland Guardians against the Detroit Tigers at Tiger Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. By defeating Detroit, the 8th-place Guardians improved to 69-93.

Julio Rodriguez had a direct impact on the outcome. Rodriguez contributed a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put Cleveland up, 4-0.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Detroit manager Don Dinsmore.
