The Arizona Diamondbacks scooped up a win at Chase Field, dumping the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-2. Mike Nagy, who finished 2nd in the AL in ERA with 3.58 in 1994, was essential to his team's success. Nagy yielded 2 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 13-7. Chuck Cary locked down his 16th save.
