Twins Suffer 4-0 Loss to Milwaukee
|
Ed Hanyzewski pitched a gem to lead Milwaukee to victory over the Minnesota Twins, 4-0. Hanyzewski, the winner, moves to 10-3. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 1 and giving up 3 walks. Greg Bollo sewed up the save, his 11th.
The Brewers got a big at-bat from shortstop Orlando Miller. For the game, Miller went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Milwaukee a 2-0 lead.
Miller attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
