Lee Now 8-10 After Beating Rockies
|
The Houston Astros earned a win at Minute Maid Park, stopping the Colorado Rockies, 4-1. Starting pitcher Cliff Lee played a big role in his team's success. The win puts Houston at 55-90.
Lee subdued the Colorado offense. The Houston left-hander allowed a mere 2 hits over 8.1 innings, while fanning 12. His season record goes to 8-10 with the win.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Lee. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
