A 3-RBI performance from Adam LaRoche, who is tied for 2nd in the NL with a 1.088 OPS, helped the Montreal Expos beat the Seattle Mariners, 13-3. Montreal is now 69-66. Seattle is 87-48.
Montreal catcher Johnny Peacock helped the Expos go up, 4-3, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Peacock hit a run-scoring single off Seattle pitcher Sam Jones.
