Ruiz Helps Cubs Beat Yankees, 10-5
Cubs catcher Keibert Ruiz left his mark on his team's 10-5 win over the New York (A) Yankees. Ruiz, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1997 draft, was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for Chicago (N) in the contest. Chicago (N) pitcher Tommy Milone got the win, upping his record to 14-6. Teddy Higuera got the loss.
