The Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers, 17-8, at Globe Life Field. Seattle designated hitter Ted Kluszewski had an outstanding performance. He was 3-6 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Seattle reliever Kevin Gregg was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Mark Leiter Jr. took the loss.
