The Minnesota Twins beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 9-7, in 11 innings at Chase Field. Manny Trillo, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win belonged to Brusdar Graterol in relief. His record improves to 2-4. Chuck Cary took the loss for Arizona. Minnesota is now 60-51, Arizona 67-44.

Minnesota used a timely hit from Bobby Morgan to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Twins ahead, 8-7. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.
