Ventura Swings Giants to 9-6 Win
Behind a solid performance from third baseman Robin Ventura, the San Francisco Giants defeated the Seattle Mariners, 9-6. Ventura was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Giants. Doug Rau, the winner, is now 11-9.
