Baumann Gets Win in Arizona Rout
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Arizona Diamondbacks and New York (N) Mets.

Arizona starter Frank Baumann kept the New York (N) offense in check, while his team cruised to a win, 13-1. Arizona now has a record of 65-41 with the win.

It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Baumann, who tallied 8 strikeouts in 8.2 innings and allowed only 5 hits. Baumann, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1997 draft, raised his record to 11-7 on the year with 111 strikeouts.

"I do my best to contribute," said Baumann.
