Albuquerque Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Monday, August 5th, 1968 The Albuquerque Blues will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 1968 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Albuquerque was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Albuquerque last appeared in the postseason in 1945. This is their 23rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 22 times in their 22-year history. |
