Players Suspended in Bluefish-Red Sox Donnybrook Friday, August 29th, 1969 Jim Unknown of Bridgeport and Sean West of Pawtucket were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Unknown will have to miss 2 games for his part in the brawl, while West was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This season in 9 starts Sean West has a record of 2-1 with 53 strikeouts in 55.1 innings and a 2.77 ERA. |
