Madison Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, August 22nd, 1969 The Madison Velocity have spent much of the season on the outside looking in at the playoff race. They will be permanently on the outside now, after being officially eliminated from contention today. Before this season, the Velocity last missed the playoffs in 1967. In the 23 years they have been a MLB Triple A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 21 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
