Kendall West-Plano Brawl, Kingman and Pena Suspended

Dave Kingman of Kendall West and Ariel Pena of Plano were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Kingman will have to miss 3 games for his part in the brawl, while Pena was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today.

In his stats this season, Kingman has posted a batting average of .191 with 57 hits in 299 at-bats, 28 home runs and 56 RBIs. He has also scored 47 runs, walked 33 times and compiled a .285 OBP.

This season Pena has a 9-9 mark in 22 starts with a 3.54 ERA. He has given up 132 hits in 147.1 innings, struck out 191 and issued 57 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .236 batting average against him.
