Monday, August 18th, 1969
Velocity left fielder David Kelton was incensed after being suspended for 3 games by the commissioner's office following a heated argument the day before in the Madison-Durham game at Ballpark of Madison.
He was thrown out of the game for arguing a strike call. The league office cited Kelton for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," which included throwing his hat at the umpire several times.
Kelton on the season is batting .211 with 17 home runs. His totals include 50 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has played in 116 games.
