Jharel Cotton Hurt, Out for Year Wednesday, July 2nd, 1969 Jharel Cotton will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Hudson Valley starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Cotton was injured while throwing a pitch in the Renegades-Trash Pandas clash at Squires Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured disc and would be out a minimum of 6-7 months. So far this season Cotton has 4 wins and 3 losses and a 2.63 ERA. |
