Fasano Takes Home SL1 Top Batter Award Tuesday, July 1st, 1969 Sal Fasano mauled enemy pitching all month long as he cruised to the Sub League 1 Batter of the Month title. Fasano batted .282 with 9 home runs, 15 RBIs and 21 runs scored in a June performance that has Pawtucket fans eagerly awaiting what he can do in July. Fasano is swinging at a .263 pace on the year with 12 home runs, 20 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 30 games. |
