Ryan Jensen Blanks Madison Monday, June 30th, 1969 Ryan Jensen handcuffed the Madison Velocity at Aviators Ballpark today, coming away with a 5-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Memphis Redbirds right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Jensen had little trouble with the Velocity and led the Redbirds to victory, 3-0. He recorded 13 strikeouts and no walks in an impressive performance. On his stats sheet for the year Jensen shows a 8-9 record, 20 starts, 123 innings, 128 strikeouts and a 5.05 ERA. |
