Great Week for Madison's Brandon Allen Monday, June 23rd, 1969 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Sub League 2, but last week Brandon Allen of the Madison Velocity reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Allen rocked opposing pitching for a .458 average (11-for-24), 2 home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this year in 68 games Allen is hitting .246 with 13 home runs, 39 RBIs and 28 runs scored. |
